Hello everyone today I had a really fun day because we visited the Kennedy Space Center.  First we went to the Angry Birds Space section where I fired birds at pigs.  We also took the mirror maze.  We then had to leave to a bus tour.  It dropped us off at a place where we could see many different launch pads.  We mainly focused on the Launch Pad-39.  Launch Pad-39 is where many shuttles launched from and where a rocket will launch on July 19th to send a satellite into outerspace for the U.S. Navy. Then we went to see the Apollo exhibit where we saw the Saturn V rocket, the largest rocket used by NASA.  This rocket was also used to send austronauts to the moon.  I even got to touch a moon rock!  On the way back to the visitor complex we saw a manatee in the river and a turtle crossing the road.  We then went to the Atlantis exhibit and got on a shuttle launch simulator.  It was pretty cool but I think roller coasters are scarier.  Then we went back to the Angry Birds section were I went through a lazer maze.  I did terrible.  My sister did it too.  She did it a bit easier than me.  Then we went to learn about Mars.  I learned that scientist are trying to find out if life ever existed on Mars.  The US has sent four rovers to explore Mars.  Towards the end, my mom left to the gift shop and we went to get wet at the splash pad with my dad.  We all met at the gift shop.  We then went to eat at Sonny's BBQ pit.  We finally arrived at our next hotel.  Good Night.
