Hanoi was exotic....I did have a bad experience of food poisoning when I went to Halong Bay. Belle and I had to go to the SOS International Clinic and take shots as we were severely dehydrated...It was close to 40 degrees that Saturday and looks like the salad we ate was not fresh...
All in all I had a great experience in Hanoi...World cup was on and I didnt realize how much the Vietnamese loved football. We went and watched on a couple of bars....Too bad I saw England lost to Germany and a few of my peers were teasing me....Oh well, next world cup then....
I loved the warmth of the Vietnamese.....our hosts were absolutely delightful....oh and dont try to cross the street by waiting for the traffic lights..that doesnt work.....you gotta watch the traffic and the millions of bikes....
