Okay, back on track, we're heading west again and we see the mountains in the distance. We think, maybe we could head a little more west to Rocky Mountain House and get a better view of the mountains. It was still pretty much on route. However, at Rocky Mountain House, the
mountains lured us in. We were captivated by the distant peaks and before we knew it we were driving in the opposite direction of where we should have been heading. No regets this evening though, although we now have more than 1500km to travel in the next two days in order to arrive at the destination on time. The rockies were absolutely amazing - a total feast for the eyes! The pine and snow fresh scents were rejuvenating. What a great country we live in!
Our days started out heading west and then we turned north. But before we'd even gone an hour we veered from the predecided route towards Pine Lake - we wanted to see how the landscape looked after the tornado went through ten years ago. A bit unsuccessful but it was still a pretty drive.
