Last weekend we headed to
Shanghai to watch the ATP Men's Professional Tennis Tournament final match. The matches took place in a fantastic new tennis facility. Center Court Stadium seats about 15000 people and has a retractable roof. We took the bullet train to Shanghai in the morning and after a couple of hours of walking around downtown we caught the subway train to the stadium for the start of the mens-doubles final. We didn't know it at the time but Wilfred Tsonga of France was in the final so that was pretty exciting. Tsonga and his partner easily beat their opponents. In the mens final, Rafa Nadal was playing Davydenko of Russia. It was a great match with Davydenko winning in 2 sets. I was amazed at the intensity of the match right from the first point. Great fun.
