ok.. so i think i left off at san cristobal.. elias didn?t end up taking me to san juan chamula.. he found work!! praise God.. i was talking to him that night too, and he said that since he was little he?s wanted to be a missionary, and he feels like this bible is his first step!! but he said He will seek God first. God is there to guide his steps, and he wants to not date for awhile.. so keep praying for him!! ( i guess when he was younger, there were missionaries from the us that went to his town villa flores.. and that was how he learned about christ.. isn?t that awesome? it?s so cool that God is continually watering the seed that He used them to plant)   and as for san juan chomola.. it was so funny cuz i was the only white person on the bus to san juan chomola.. everyone else were indegenous, because i think most tourists go with a tour group.. lol.. the woman next to me was staring at me in amusement, cuz i think she was just as interested in me as i was with her.. and there was this little kid in the back giving me the dirty eye.. staring me down.. lol.. i couldn?t help but have a little grin on my face.. i kind of liked being the odd one out..   when i got there it was nothing like i expected it be.. it looked a lot like a normal mexican town... except even more poverty. people were selling things everywhere and there was big market in the middle with all types of fruit and vegetables.. and live chickens!  it was so sad because there were little kids running around asking for pesos.. some only about three.. parents nowhere in sight.. i adopted 4 for the afternoon and bought them icecream and banannas and tortillas.. it was interested because they didn?t really speak spanish.. don?t know the name of their language.. but they said si a lot.. i don?t think they knew what i was saying really.. but it was nice to see the smiles on their faces.. other than that i didn?t do much there..   on my ride back i met a guy who will go unnamed... i started talking to him and he said that he?s coming to the us.. i slowly got it out of him that he?s crossing illegally with a coyote.. i gave him psalmo 91, and the one you gave me grady.. psalmo 37:4.. and told him how dangerous it is.. but i know he?s going to do it.. $2,000!! that?s so much here.. his whole savings. so if you could pray for him.. i think he?s going to try to cross in march. it?s so dangerous.. and he doesn?t know any english really.. and he can?t read or write .. im really worried about him.. and he?s part of our family in christ.. so yea.. pray for him.   ..the past few days i went on a group trip to yaxchilan and bonampak and the jungle!! i don?t have time to write right now because we?re gonna go eat then go dancing!! yay!! but i will finish later.. i?ll be goign to guatemala tomorrow yay!! hasta for now. God bless, love, michelle   ps.. amanda i just wanted you to know our guide in the jungle had a machete and every time i looked at it, i imagined what your reaction would?ve been.. and i couldn?t help but laugh with the face that came to my mind.. lol.. and ebe.. you think it?s scary i have a knife with me.. you should see the machete i got to hold.. lol.
