Cathedral Grove in MacMillan Provincial Park

It didn't matter that we had a deadline or that we were in a hurry to get to Ucluelet. There was no passing by Cathedral Grove, a sight only surpassed by the redwoods of California.

It is situated about 20 km west of Coombs.

Cooms is also worth a stop on the way back because it is the location of Canada's most famous general store - the Coombs General Store. It is renowned for its incredible selection of merchandise, good food, atmosphere and even more for the family of grazing goats on the roof of the store.
