I am currently living in Durham is in the middle of NC, between Raleigh and Chapel Hill, part of the Research Triangle.

Home of Duke University

Duke also has the Sarah Duke flower gardens which happen to be right next to my parking area
One of the nice things about NC roads is that while you are stopped in traffice jams you get to look at flowers
When you head to Western NC you can go to Chimney Rock Park and view the areas where  "Last of the Mohicans " was made..
You can also visit Lake Lure where part of "Dirty Dancing " was filmed...

When you head to the East you can stay at the ocean, so it is nice to land in the middle of the state

Heading off to an Asian adventure you have to make your preparations early
Had the Hep A shot and have the typhoid pills to take ....
Researched cameras today to see if I needed an upgrade......think not ..just get more comfortable with mine....and buy a new memory stick...
checked out luggage... I think I should get a better carry on--will check into that
Need medical evacuation insurance (got a million dollars worth just in case lolol) and some extra passport photos and a visa for Viet Nam..oops did that wrong had to send it back  EXPENSIVE MISTAKE!!!!!. 

Amy has finished firming up the itinerary from Taiwan to Viet Nam and Cambodia for our little side trip..

Ordered travel books for Viet Nam, Anghor Wat and Taiwan... better learn a bit about where I am going...,
