Our 3rd day was our last so we had to pack for our flight, but we had a few hours to walk around and see more of Kowloon. We explored a number of back streets which are host a staggering number of shops, markets and people. We took a short trip on the main railway system (KCR) and ended up at the waterfront facing HK Island at a place called The Avenue of Stars which, no surprise, has handprints in the floor of famous stars such as Bruce Lee. We made our back to the hotel and then to the airport for our transfer to Brisbane.

The flight overnight was not a good one! Very cramped and surrounded by some very noisy children (not Josh) and overall no sleep for Liz and Ian. This meant arriving in Australia looking completely dead on our feet, with yet another flight to Cairns immediately following. It was with great relief to arrive at the resort where we stay for 5 days, even if it's very hot and humid - sorry, not complaining really!!
