The Tico mentality is already getting to me. I did a whole lot of nothing today. Ate lunch went to the beach, drank tea by the pool and I am about to watch the sunset over the point. I am a little lonely, traveling by yourself is calming but definitely not as fun. Two other teachers arrive tomorrow so I am sure I will have plenty to do come next week. I am already planning my first trip to the Cloud Forest, for a little tree canopying. Good times.

Liz, the pics are amazing, I can't believe how close you are to the water! And the apt. is so cute..you have the whole place to yourself? I kind of pictured you in a shanty w/ a corrugated metal roof or something :) and I really wasn't expecting you to have internet access! What's your telephone situaiton like? Well, have fun getting used to your new home! I look forward to reading your journals and living vicariously (sp?) through you! Love you!
