India hasn't sunk in 100% yet but we have put together a list of our standout highs and lows of this intriguing country.

Highlights - Diu (special note for O'Coquiero restaurant), Jaisalmer (La Mystica hotel - thank you Ashraf), camel safari (Abraham!), Taj Mahal - it really is awesome, food - all of it, reliable transport making it an easy country to travel around, seeing Tigers, the sheer variety of the things we saw, no diarahorahahaha (!), cooking lessons - Shashi is a brilliant cook sure ours will taste as good!, and Varanasi, the perfect end.

Lowlights - Bhuj/Kutch (although the "quarrel" was quite enjoyable), Amar Niwas guesthouse and Hotel New King, female squat urinals - just the oddest thing, "which country?", tuk tuk hassle, spitting, amount of rubbish  - it would be even more spectacular if it had more bins, and sleeper buses - honestly, take the train!

Incredibly we came in under Liz's budget for India and in total only spent 512 each for the whole 6 weeks! Pretty impressive bossiness by Liz.....
