Where I stayed
Following morning Lucy cooked us a delicious breakfast and loaded us up with pasteries and we headed north to San Ignacius, the home of the friendly whales. I could not leave Baja without seeing them up close again. And they did not disappoint, they breached and one mum and calf came right up to the boat and mum sprayed us with water. We also saw whales mating, what a sight. Talk about Mr Grey, he was enoromous- all body parts! !!! and very peristant. I think all the men were very envious.
13/02/2013:Tonight we are in Guerrero Negro and it is cold
We had our first chinese meal tonight, looked good but did not taste like chinese, I guess the big red chilies had something to do with it.
14/02/2013: Did an eight hour drive back to Rosarito, to Sal and Yolanda's place where we stay until returning to USA.
The drive through the desert was remarkable, the recent rains transformed this dry arid place to the most beautiful green plains and mountains. Many of the Cactus were flowering and the colours were amazing.
We had many military stops and each time they searched our car the military guy would smile and comment on Gary's supply of Bourbon and beer.
Luckily no dramas.
