Well it's Saturday the 25th of December and I'm spending the rest of the evening in an Internet cafe! Having gone out last night to a Christmas Eve party and partaking in a large mug of magic tea and drinking gallons of vodka and redbull I am feeling very dodgy today. But it was probably the best Christmas Eve I've ever had. . . . . most certainly the trippyest!
After saying goodbye to Cambodia we went back to Thailand to meet our friend Andy in Bangkok. We decided to head straight to an island and chose Koh Pha-Ngan because of the forthcoming full moon party plus we thought it would be a cool place to spend Xmas. Koh Pha-Ngan is really pretty. We have a little bungalow by the beautiful beach for 350 Baht in the north west which is far away from the crowds around Hat Rin in the south, where it looks somewhat like Ibiza. We hired a jeep on the second day and did a bit of exploring round the island. Not much else to say really as we've just been sunbathing, eating fresh barbecued fish on the beach for dinner and getting messy in the evenings, so we'll leave the rest to your imagination.
The full moon party's tomorrow then we go to Krabi and Koh Phi Phi for the new year. So have a good new year everyone!
