Bangkok a go go!

After a hectic few days in Tokyo and much travelling between airports we found ourselves in Bangkok where we decided to chill for a few days before moving on to Cambodia.
We got to the typical traveller destination of Kho San Road and found a wicked place to stay where the only room left at 4am when we arrived was one with Air con so what the hell we treated ourselves again.
Kho San Road is a great busy buzzing street with far more tourist than Thai's but still very enjoyable to meander up and down in daytime checking out the stalls and the delicious street food, and the many bars and restaurants!!
On our first night I had the most glorious Thai Red Curry that I have ever tried while Liz after having many Thai mussels in Hong Kong checked out the home cooked pizza. The following evening we did the tourist thing and went down to the sex tourism area of Patpong to see what those Go Go bars are all about (I will leave to your own imaginations), followed by the Q club in a smarter part of town where true to our recent form we spent too much getting drunk!!
On our last day before going over the border we both had massages at Madam Joe Joe's, and no it is not what you may be thinking but a traditional Thai massage place where we both had the best massages of our life. Liz's dodgy neck was totally sorted out and after loads of stretching and being put in position's I didn't know my body was capable of getting into I felt totally ache-free and as light as a feather.
That's all folks for now as we will explore more when return to Bangkok to meet Punji just before Christmas.
