Well it's now exactly 4 days and 10 and a half hours until we board our first plane to a far away, distant land!
We've been planning this trip for a year now and had plenty of time to get to grips with what we're actually doing!
we've re-mortgaged the house, bought our round the world tickets, rented the house out and handed our furry, feline friends over to a passing, old-aged hippy (thanks Dad!). And now its time say "creeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!"
It's party time tomorrow, for a 'farewell to Liz and Rich' good ole knees up kinda thing. Followed by a last minute frenzy sorting out the mess from the night before, travellers cheques, packing of rucksacks, etc. . . .

This has been something that we've wanted to do since we were All packed and ready to go!

 . . . oooh - that high, but it's taken us a few years of working in an office to give us that good old kick up the nether regions to actually do it.
Can't say the mortgage re-payments are a delight or indeed the lack of socialising over last year. But it'll all be very worth it in the end.

The next time you here from us we'll be in the wonders of India! Don't worry parents, we've got our water purification stuff, first aid kit, multi-vits etc. . .
