Last stop was lunch with Ronnie at Bella Blu - we had the snapper with sauteed spinach and red cabbage. Our meal was delicious and we enjoyed every minute of our last day. On to the airport and then goodbye to St. Thomas - but we'll be back!
Alas...our last day in St.Thomas. We enjoyed a leisurely morning with Ronnie and enjoyed 6 SHIPS AT PORT! It was a real treat to see all the big cruisers in the harbor....there were so many that one was anchored right smak in the middle! It had to ferry the passengers to the dock using the lifeboats, which was actually cool to watch. Then Tim and I headed downtown to pick up the gifts for Kathe and the kids. For Kathe we found a beautiful piece of original art at the Jonna White Gallery http://www.jonnawhite.com. She does beautiful etchings on heavily embossed papers - Kathe's is called "Satsuma" and I bought "Cloiosnne" for the house. Then we picked up hook bracelets for the girls, bosun whistles for the boys at S.O.S. Antiques on Waterfront and some west indian coffee for Tim's mom. After that we had to head to the spice shop to get some yummy west indies seasonings like Moko Jumbi (which is actually a Dancing Spirit portrayed by a stilt dancer).
