Where I stayed
As we said, it was the same schedule today. Olivia was going to sit on the beach, and Taj was going to hit the golf course again.
But first up, it was time to check the internet for the All Blacks score against the Wallabies. Oh yeah! AB's are Tri-nations and Bledisloe champions again!
After beach/golf time, we went to the supermarket to get some lunch - bread rolls and coconut cake. We had brought a jar of peanut butter with us from London after Matina telling us it was useful in times when you didn't have good food. Peanut butter sandwiches with the last of the Coke Zero
We then cooled off in the pool (Olivia spent most of the time in the pool while Taj was on the slide!) before another few grudge matches of mini-golf.
Again livestock everywhere - giant ants, lizards, spiders - obstacles we don't normally have when playing mini-golf!
After a lazy couple of hours reading on the hammock, we went to the internet cafe to catch up on more blog.
We contemplated, again, going somewhere else for dinner but it was pretty busy so we ended up back at 'Roz's'!! Surprise surprise!
Taj ordered a mini pizza and Olivia ordered a burger. Burger came first and it looked like it had been picked up from the takeaways down the road! In fact, if you chucked in some beetroot, it would probably have been a kiwiburger. Mmmm.
We were leaving at 3am tomorrow so we headed home to wash up and pack. As is our luck, the town decided it was time to pump up the sounds so we had BLASTING music ALL night long! If that wasn't enough, the local pyrotechnic expert decided it was time to practice again so we had exploding fireworks to boot.
