My first ever Skydive and i did it solo!!!!!

Took a 12 hour course with my brother in Picton with Sydney Skydivers on the Friday and was meant to jump on the Saturday, but due to bad weather we had to leave it a week. So the following Saturday we drove back to Picton to jump solo.

What a wicked experience!!! i was pretty nervous on the ground, found it a little difficult to breath during my practice run on terra firma but seemed to relax a little on the way up (wierd!!). It was a stunning day, blue skys sunshine... awesome...

At 13,500ft......
All went well until the crunch! Got out of the plane well, did all my practice throws and all the other checks but when i pulled the chute i had a TWIST!!!! shit!!!!!  Luckily we were trained on how to resolve the problem, followed my procedures and had a full chute.
Couldn't beleive how easy it was to steer, pull left, it goes left, pull right, it goes right. Pull down and the chute collapses on you and you are mince meat!!!

Was a brilliant experience, one i had been meaning to do for a long time. Highly recommend it to anyone.
P.S - My brother had a great jump too, never seen anyone sooo happy with their accomplishements!!
