Bonito lives up to its name. Bonito is BONITO!!

The town itself is nice but the surrounds are brilliant. On bus trip there I was tired, hungry, freezing, dirty and on a bumpy road with potholes the size of Africa. I remember smiling at myself in the dark bus and thinking there was nowhere I wanted to be more at that moment, am loving this trip!
Went to the Rio Prata which is a natural aquarium river. You wear a wetsuit and snorkel and float down this crystal clear river looking at the fish. Truly an amazing experience. To get there I hired a motorbike, when I hired it I was told I could get petrol at the river... that was a lie! When I left the river it was getting dark, to my right was a beautiful sunset, to my left a huge storm was coming towards me with lighting cracking sideways!! I had never seen that before. I was on bumpy dirt roads with no other traffic in the dark and didn't know if I had enough fuel to get back! Luckily I made it safely with enough fuel and beat the storm. Phhheeeewww!
