I like Nelson...its a pretty little town and the hostel we stayed in was so luxurious it was unbelieveable!  They had the biggest mirrors in the world in the bathrooms (steph would have loved it) AND free popcorn with the evening movie!!  Heaven!

From here we were able to explore Able Tasman National Park, well that was the idea until we got out of the car and it started to chuck it down with rain!  So we walked for an hour got wet and turned round at which point the sun came out and everything looked decididly prettier!  We had had enough by this point anyway - being horribly wet and all, so we squelched our way back to the car and decided we would go and see a big hole which was big and well.... holy?!  The walk to get there was fun though clambering over lots of big rocks!!

Anyway I got told about whales so we skidadled out of there in search of them.....
