And so we arrived to the most beautiful weather we had so far in Australia - this was what it was meant to be like!!  We ended up staying in a huge but fantastic hostel!  It is a converted pig slaughter house wierdly enough and is now a sanctury for hippies it felt like we were back in Asia!!  It had everything you could possibly want or not want, from a sauna to a cinema!  I loved it here, we met some lovely people to hang out with and were so busy doing all sorts of exciting things it was great!

We did sea kayacking, where we spotted our first lot of dolphins (so exciting) and paddled to the eastern most point of Australia, we went for a beach ride and cantered alongside more dolphins playing in the waves before changing into our swimmers and riding bareback into the waves, I went for a very long walk up to the light house and spotted the biggest lizard in the world and more dolphins,  we had a surfing lesson (with dolphins) and i actually managed to stand up!  I did a bush tucker walk with some one called cokatoo paul (wierdly enough) and learnt to suvive if i ever got stuck out bush (proved paticularly useful in our next destination - Sydney) and I learnt how to play the Didgereedo (western name) or yirtakki which is what the Djinang tribe of Arnhem land call it, apparantly i have good technique - the sounds i produced didn't sound very didg like to me - more constipated trumpet!

As ever it was time to move on so with all these new found skills under my belt we got on a stupidly long bus ride to Syders!
