Our bus dropped us off in the one tuk-tuk town of Stung Treng with one of the people who we had crossed into Vietnam with! We were barraged by people offering us places to stay and so set them against each other in a price war which soon secured us a bargin price room AND a free ride in THE tuk-tuk to get there!!
James (the hotel man - who incidently thought i was German) then sold us a trip up to Don Det (one of the four thousand islands in Laos)! After 2 suppers - the street food we spotted after our first (small) supper looked rather enticing - we collapsed back at the hotel (infront of the most mellodramatic programme about jelly fish you've ever seen in your life) ready for another early start!
