So.. what do you recon to the pics?! One thing is for sure.. Beth Ditto is in bits. I love her though, what a show!

The gig was at The Zoo, which is a relatively small venue above some shops in the Valley. Stef and I got there a bit earlier and resumed our places right at the front of the stage. The warm up band (although looking like idiots) were actually quite good. Although the girl with the blonde hair thought she was super cool and had a bit too much attitude for my liking.

The Gossip took a while to get on stage, during which the crowd of roughly 200 people were chanting and trying to entice her to come out. Finally the female drummer came out, the crowd went mad and Beth made her appearance. Beth

. without trousers. Stef shouted out "I fcuking love you Beth" to which Beth looked straight at us and said "thank you" hahahaha!

She chatted to the crowd, people passed her notes, which she read out and a girl grabbed her boob, which Beth thought was amusing, although she clearly pointed out (and I quote) "I'm not a dyke". Then I leant forward and reached out and she took my hand whilst she was singing!! It was pretty cool, I've never had a celeb sing a song to me before!!! Stef was well annoyed.. Beth being such an icon for her and all!! A bit later on though Stef managed to reach out and shake Beth's hand... which she was happy with! I keep meaning to check utube for video clips to see if anyone got it on vid.. there's a little task for you people who are bored at work and have nothing better to do!!!

'Standing In The Way Of Control' is mine and Stef's song, we heard it about 4 months before it was released, we used to bounce on Stef's bed and generally go mad when the song came on.. so when it came on at the gig, Stef and I just let loose!!! It was amazing!! Although my legs were sore the next day!!

We literally left the venue at the end soaking wet from sweat and spilt drinks! The Warm up Band..

! haha!
We hung around for a bit in hope of getting a photo with Beth but didn't get anywhere. Although I think you'll all agree, I managed to get some decent pics!!

Anyway, the gig was like nothing I have been to before, it was so close and personal and Stef and I had loads of fun. Well worth $42!

So the next gig now is The Kings Of Leon which I am really looking forward to. Stef and I have tickets for 2nd January but I don't land back in Brisbane until late, so need to get my flights changed. That should be a pretty good gig if I can get there.

So that's it for now.. Until then, much love to you all
