First impressions of Noosa... beautiful! Noosa is very middle class and the properties are massive and verrrrrry expensive. The town is full of beautiful bootiques and classy wine bars. Stef and i wandered the streets and looked through the windows.. couldnt afford to even step in the shops! hahaha! We did however find a lovely little bead shop where we made bracelets. We were going to make them for eachother but decided to make our own as we both have verrrry different taste!!! The beach was lovely although we didnt get any time to sunbathe. We did however bump into a very friendly carpet python who was crossing the road as we were heading into town one day! It was so surreal, it was about 5-6ft and was just crossing the road. We went and knocked on the door of the house the snake was heading too to tell them they have a snake in their garden. The lady opened the door and just shook it off as if it was normal.. as if it was a cat!! Stef and I just watched it with our jaws wide open, it was so weird!!!
Our day at the zoo was amazing but really emotional. Steve was such an amazing man with a strong passion for animals... mainly crocs and snakes as we all know! His memorial walls were hard to swallow and as we read all the poems and notes that people had written, Stef and I stood in silence trying really hard to hold back the tears. The zoo it's self isnt actually very big, we were there from 11am until 4pm and there was plenty of time to get round everything, catch some shows and chill out. We layed on the grass with some kangaroo's and cuddled a koala called Jaffa and ate ice creams whilst watching lizards running around scaring all the kids. It was an amusing day to say the least.
So after Noosa we headed to Brisane.. for the next chapter in my adventure!!!
Loads of love
