Arrived about 7.30pm to this silver mining town in the mountains. It is a beautiful journey up here in the bus and the tiny streets are bustling with cars and people, it is crazy, but nice!
We had a lovely evening and morning in Taxco just walking around the markets stalls that fill the tiny streets. We also visited the cathedral in the Zocalo, which is really beautiful inside and had a plaque commemorating the visit of John Paul II.
We also walked up the steep hill to the smaller church, from there you get a great view over the whole town and he surrounding mountains, it really is very picturesque. This place is well worth a visit if you ever get the chance and the street food is great.
Amazingly Epis camera started working again after some messing about with it. We cannot see what we are taking pictures of, but it is better than nothing and we can then view the photos on my camera - so between the 2 broken cameras we have 1 that works!!!
