Today we caught the local bus out to Playa Coco, an hour bus ride from Liberia. It cost all of 45p! We got there and too some pictures and then decided to head to the next place further along the beach, Playa Hermosa. We finally got to the beach about 12 noon and lay on the hot sand. It was a beautiful day and despite the fact hat the beach was not the most fantastic we had seen it was hot and sunny and the sea was lovely and warm. But before you all start getting jealous or thinking that I am going to come back to the UK a lovely tone of bronze, think again. By 2pm Epi was bored, well he would be, he don´t have to worry about being the whitest person on the entire beach! We left the beach to grab some food and found out that the next bus wasn´t for 2 hours, so we walked around, back to the beach, up the streets and eventually got the bus back to Liberia. All those wasted rays, I could be so much redder by now!!!!

It was a really nice way to spend the day and actually 2 hours was probably perfect as I am a little red - but don't tell Epi that!

For the next 3 days we are going to be travelling across land to Guatemala on "Tica Bus". I am a little nervous, but I am sure it will all be fun! We are spending one night in Nicaragua and one night in El Salvador, we get to Guatemala City on Saturday afternoon and then have to take another bus to Antigua, where we are doing a home stay with local families again.

So just in case we don`t get access to a pc for the next 3 days I will see you on the other side (I mean in Guatemala!). I am going to put the route on my blog now so you can see where we are going.

Mum
Caught you both up again! You will be a qualified botanist and zoologist by the time you return. What wonderful memories you will have. You would do well in the I'm a celebrity get me out of here!! Their tasks would seem tame to what you have been doing!!

Re: Mum
Hi Mum, there have been many times when it has felt like 'I´m a Celebrity' but no one listens when I shout 'get me out of here!'
