Arrived safe and sound in Bogota after a long journey through the mountains, around more curves than I care to remember. But the views in parts were stunning - mainly the parts where it wasn't raining and we could actually see out of the windows!!!
We are now staying in the Bogota and we were amazed by the shopping centres and restaurants near where we are staying, it is very hip and trendy - but quite pricey too.

Our hostel is basic, but the guy who runs it is so friendly, found out he is from Madrid, which we hadn't expected.

Fly out to Costa Rica tomorrow afternoon, praying for some sun, it is cold and wet in Bogota!

I can't quite believe that we are finally leaving South America tomorrow. After dreaming about coming here for so many years it is strange to now think that I have seen so much of it and I am moving on. I am really excited about Central America, but very sad to be saying goodbye to South America. We have had some fantastic experiences, met some wonderful people and really loved our time here. I only hope I can get back some day!
