As you can see we are still in Copacabana, we had been feeling better and were due to go off and explore the Isla del Sol today, but when I tried to eat breakfast I was sick 3 times, so went back to bed!!!
Have spent most of the day in bed and only came out to the internet place because it sounded like they were trying to knock every wall in the Hotel down for the last hour and my head couldnt take it any longer!
So we are not going to get to see the island, but tomorrow we head to Puno, which is on the Peruvian side of the Lake. I am praying that I feel better then and we can actually get out on to Lake Titicaca. Would also like some nice weather too!!!!! Mum, can you have a word?!
Epi raves about the breakfast at Hotel Utama in his blog, I would too, had I managed to keep it down!!! Not a great place to be sick as the Restaurant Orillo is fantastic too - great guy that owns it and he speaks English!!!! We also bought Epi some new walking shoes as his have split and a Peru book from The Spitting Llama.
Dont go to the coffee shop on the corner of 6 de Agusto (the one upstairs). It is run by a grumpy old bugger and is a rip off, we had a cold coffee which tasted crap and he charged us more than double we had paid anywhere else - stick with Orillo!!!!
