It is another rainy day in Rio. We went to the central post office today to collect my parcel from Mum, so we now have a debit card again - hooray! We had a good look around central (downtown) but didnīt take any photos as it was too wet to get the cameras out! We then headed up on the old tram to Santa Teresa. This area is supposed to be where all of the artists display there work and you can not only look at it, but buy stuff as well. Unfortunately it was so wet that all the artists seemed to be hiding for the day, probably decided to take an early siesta, which is what we should have done. We had a wonder around and peered down at the Favelas and then made our way back down to central and caught the metro home.
Spent bloody hours finally getting up to date with the blogs and loading photos from the last 2 weeks - so you had better go and have a look at them now!!!!! It does take such a long time to keep the blog up to date, but we are going to make an effort to keep on top of it now again.
Off to Igazu falls tomorrow, we have a 22 hour bus ride this time. I tell you what someone had better pick us up from Heathrow when we arrive back, if anyone suggested I should get on the bus - "I KILL YOU"
We will be staying on the Brazilian side of Igazu for one night and then heading to the Argentine side, so we will update our blogs from the Argentine side as it is a hell of a lot cheaper!

LUCKY YOU!!
Hi Shiv! I know I've been really crap at writing notes! Just been catching up with all that you've done and can't believe how much travelling you accomplished so far. Photo's are great, and give a real sense of the different places. Keep safe and well and enjoy the trip.
I PROMISE to write more often.
best wishes,
