Today we had a good look around the city, at the old colonial part. Cordoba is a large, but nice city with a lot of churches! There are 23 churches in the centre of the city, we didnīt manage to visit them all! But the ones we did have a look at were very impressive.

We also had a look around the University, it is a beautiful old University, that still uses the old wooden type desks, real traditional looking place, with teachers lounges and old classrooms all overlooking a central courtyard.

That evening we arranged to meet up with Tom and James and finally having met them over 5 weeks ago, go for a beer! It was really good to hear their travelling stories and also just to chat about their plans. We were pretty shocked to find out that they too had a terrible experience in a noisy hostel in Valparaiso - and yes it too was in "Yo Yo Hostel"!!!!! I should have emailed them to warn them not to go there, but it was quite funny to hear that they had exactly the same experience as us!

After that we went to the movies - it is great here, the movies costs just over a pound for an adult and you can even take your bottle of beer into the movie if you want to. Whatīs even better is that the films we have been to see are always virtually empty, so you get to sit where ever you like.
