We moved on down to Wanaka, and it is such a lovely alpine town, we both really liked Wanaka, so we decided to stay a couple of days.
On the 1st day we walked around the town and walked up Mt Iron, a tiny one at 200m, but lovely views.
We both climbed Roys Peak, 1600m, it was hard, but sooo worth the views again.
Wanaka has the worlds comfiest and funkiest Cinema apparently, we were going to go, but somehow never made it, it has sofas instead of the crippling cinema seats and they come around with warm cookies!! Cool Eh!! We both really enjoyed our stay at Wanaka, a really cool chilled out place!!
