We had a really long drive, and we headed across to the west coast, where, on the way, we drove between Te Kuiti and Tongaporutu, on highway number 3, it was such an amazing drive, we played the tunes loud in the van and soaked in the views, they were stunning, we both said again, one of the best drives on the north island!! We ended up on a campsite at Oharero, really nice campsite, where we had local green lipped mussles for tea, and they were huge and had baby crabs in them, which we had to pick out as we were eating them, they were soooooo yummy!!!!!
