Probably my last entry before I leave for the UK on Sunday! Cant believe it is almost over!
See you all soon!!
From Toubakouta we hired a sept place to take us all the way to the lovely and tiny fishing village of Toubab Dialaw. So peaceful and a really friendly place! We even ended up gettin our very own tourguide free of charge called Jamil who insisted on taking us everywhere around "his village" and often tried to convince us that we should stay there forever...he didnt even ask any of us to marry him which is generally the first thing men over here ask, so we were happy about that! Stayed in a seashell covered hotel with a view onto the sea...chilled out on the beach, met with some of the locals, had lunch at the Jamils house and again just relaxed the whole time! Left on Sunday for Dakar with Jamil leading the way! Handy to have him around as it only cost us about a pound each to get to Dakar which would usually have been a lot more for us Toubabs! Had lunch with the girls in Dakar and then I headed back up to St Louis in time for work on Monday. Would have loved to continued onto casamance with the other girls but only got one week left and needed to get back to the Daara!
