Wednesday morning, back on the London tube to get myself to Heathrow for my flight to Bangkok.  I took advice from Chris (who is a London firefighter) and left extra early to avoid the mad rush of morning commuters.  Glad I listened to him, since even at 7:30 a.m. there were a fair amount of people on board the tube.

If  I could figure out a way to live on a Singapore airlines plane for my entire year trip, believe me I would!

Friends had told me to expect the best from this airline and I was not disappointed!  The flight attendants were beautifully dressed in long embroidered Asian style gowns and were so gracious.  Great food, unlimited beer & wine, my own choice of in-flight entertainment. What more could I ask for?!

I knew I should be sleeping but I didn't want to miss a thing, so I stayed awake for the entire journey and watched three movies.  I lived to regret it later, when I had a week of jet lag.
