The conservatism wasnīt that apparent in the Plazuela de los Sapos on Saturday night when several overexcited local students tried to show us how to salsa, but perhaps itīs more about the cityīs colonial history and lack of starbucks. Itīs hard to believe itīs the 5th biggest city in Mexico, after 3 days it really felt like weīd seen most of the sights, and had mole coming out of our ears. Thereīs lots of pretty buildings though, and some good restaurants but my original idea of staying here long term was swiftly forgotton after a few hours.
