Today was a lazy day, we didn't do much at all to be honest. We potted around just relaxing, had a lie in, walked into town and treated ourselves to brunch at a lakeside pub while reading the Sunday papers. I even treated myself to the International Mail and a copy of a gossip magazine. I wanted to know what was going on in the world again. We then treated ourselves even more - to a trip to the Warehouse (where everyone gets a bargain!). I needed a new pair of jeans as I'd broken mine in Franz Joseph, I needed a jumper, a pair of trainers, a mascara plus some other bits and bobs. We spent 2 hours in there, it was great. Lee bought some stuff, I got a new pair of jeans. 2 very versatile tops that could be worn as a beach top or going out top, mascara plus some Xmas cards to send home. They were doing a special offer where if you spent over a certain amount you got a free money off voucher, so we managed to split our shopping so that we both got a voucher in order for us to get money off other stuff. Sad I know, but I enjoyed having a bit of a shop. After that we just pottered some more around the hostel, working out our next move and generally enjoyed not doing very much at all. We wanted to head into town for a beer but the weather was awful, absolutely pouring it down, so we decided to play some more darts. We actually wanted to play pool but there was a group of not-very-friendly-we're-off-a-bus-tour people watching a DVD and being sniffy about the noise so we swapped to darts, and I'm glad because I blooming well WON the first game of darts in my life - wooooo-hoooooo! All that practice had paid off and I won. Yay!
