Today we went to see Meteor Crater in Arizona. A meteor hit Arizona 50,000 years ago and made a huge crater. You could put 20 football fields in the middle. That is how big it is!! First, we went into the museum to learn about the meteor and others that have hit earth.
Then, we went outside to the observation decks. It was so windy I could barely stand. I am not usually afraid of heights, but I couldn't walk to the lowest observation deck that hangs into the crater. Brian was brave enough to go and take pictures. Tis a far far better man... More thumbnails ...
