Yesterday, was a day of driving all over creation looking for windmills. I was determined to get a photo of tulips in front of a windmill. I just couldn't find anything close. If there was a windmill with a field by it, there were no tulips only dirt. I have seen so many postcards with that kind of picture, so I know it exists. None of the postcards say where they, like what city, just "Greeting From Holland". So, I gave up for the day & took the train into Amsterdam. Argh !! Now that is a city. Just trying to get out of the train station is crazy. Once outside, that was nothing. People, I mean people everywhere. Buses, trams, taxis, bicycles, you are overwhelmed. Put it this way, I didn't even want to go back. So, now I have been here twice and still haven't gone to see the Anne Frank House. I hope I get there one day.

After a not so good nights sleep, today started off eating a strange breakfast (for me) in my little hotel. Some yogurt, ham, bread & honey, don't ask. You get what you can when you can. Today was my last day in Holland as I decided to go to Prague for a couple of days before Krakow, Poland. I set out early to on my quest for that elusive photo. While on this unsuccessful quest, I did see some amazing tulip fields. I feel better.

Really not too much more to say, I was in the car what seemed like all day. Took a 1 1/2 hour plane ride and am in Prague. Haven't seen anything, but am excited to wake up tomorrow. The weather is good tomorrow, but rain on Tuesday. I need to see all I can in 1 day. Wish me luck.

Hello Lisabean
I hope you enjoyed Prague so much as I did. A beautiful city, undeniable. At first I was a bit skeptical because everyone wants to go there and I am not a person to do what everyone does but then I was convinced by my friends and I ended up in Prague....and I have to say I absolutely loved it. The small streets, the game of lights, the people... I loved the S. Vito Cathedral and Kafka's museum. I hope you visited that, one day is, of course, not enough. I also was nicely surprised by the place we slept in. I'll leave you here a very good site of http://www.prague-hotels.org.uk/, they are cheap and very pleasant. For your next time.
