We are now on the final countdown (after starting at 120 sleeps - it seems so long ago now) - with less than 24 hours to go.

I finished up my job last week and decided to have a nice relaxing few days before we left.  Who was I kidding?  It has been fairly busy the whole way through - and I know Debbie has been the same.  Never mind - everything is done now, and I can sit down tonight feeling confident that everything is done that needs to be done.

So... where are we going?  Some of our plans are fixed, and the rest are fairly fluid.  The basic plan is this:

* 2 nights in Bangkok
* 4-5 days on 1-2 islands to the east of Bangkok
* 8 days in Siem Reap (Angkor Wat temples) and Phnom Penh (Cambodia)
* 3-4 days in Chiang Mai / Chiang Rai
* and the rest of the time meandering our way down through central Thailand (including Kachanaburi/River Kwai) and down to the southern coast and doing a bit of island hopping on the westside (Krabi, Phuket, Phi Phi, Koh Lanta) and then making our way over to the  islands on the eastern side of the south coast (Koh  Tao and Koh Pha Ngan) before we head home again.

We will attempt to keep this blog updated on a fairly regular basis so you can see what we're up to!
