Just a quick entry.
We enjoyed the rest of our day in Puerto Madryn. As I said, we had a last walk on the pier to see some last-minute whales. Actually they were a bit distant, and we couldnīt get any good photos of them, but we did meet a couple of young sealions lying on the pier, fast asleep in the sun.
We walked a bit further up the pier and saw another, larger sealion swimming in the sea. He kept swimming around for a bit, then diving down so that we couldnīt see him, but after a couple of minutes he would be back again, and we watched him for quite a while.
It was soon time to catch our bus to Rio Gallegos, a journey of about 16 hours. Actually it was absolutely fine. We got a good seat at the front of the bus, so that we could watch the Patagonian scenery unfold, and with nobody in front or behind us it meant that we got a good nightīs sleep and arrived in Rio Gallegos as fresh as could be expected.
As we only spent a couple of hours in Rio Gallegos, there isnīt much to say about our stay. So I will leave this entry now and move on...
