After we leave Riomaggiore (in Cinque Terre) we are thinking that we go to Venice next... we would like to spend the month of August in Italy, but don't really know where... would like to hear your thoughts.

Our ideas of places we should go so far are Venice, Florence, Rome, Sorrento.

Okay, it seems that I would also like to go to San Gimignano and Sienna... What about Venice 4 days, Florence 4 days, San Gimignano 2 days, Sienna 4 days? Then down to Sorrento for a week and Rome for a week before going to Greece?
