I'm behind on entries - really behind! It's been a month since I last posted and quite a month it's been.
From a last minute visit from my big brother, to many new years celebrations- I've lagged on travelogues. But, truth be told, I just live my life here in Thailand as normal and no one really cares to hear about the everyday sh-t. So, instead here are some photos from the last month - best viewed by clicking on the slideshow option above. Explainations are below.

Wishing you a happy, healthy, and safe '007. With much love from afar. Lisa

1. Meet Gabe Landes, my best farang friend in Chiang Mai. He's gone now, but for 2 months we had a lot of great adventures.

2-6. Hmong New Years Celebration. The Hmong are another hill tribe here in Northern Thailand.

7-8. Manop strumming his guitar. At night, we often sit around a fire. Someone is always playing a guitar and often the girl's are singing old communist opposition songs from the 70's.

9. New Years Office Party: me, Gabe, Tuk and my dog Jud (spot)

10-11. Rice Man: This is a Keren man up in the hills. He's too cute!

12. Saying goodbye to Gabe at the airport - he's a lucky man to be surrounded by so many beautiful women.

13. Walking through the rice paddies in the highlands.

I'm off to the People's Democratic Republic of Laos....I'll be sure to post something interesting when I get back. May the Schwartz be with me!
