In 8 days I will board an 18 hour flight to Thailand, which I will make my home for the next seven months as a World Partners Fellow.

The World Partners Fellowship is in its third year and is a programme run by American Jewish World Service. AJWS is an independent, non-profit organization found in 1985 to help alleviate hunger, poverty and disease among the world's people, regardless of race, religion, or nationality. AJWS supports more than 200 organizations in the developing world through grant making, technical support, emergency relief, and advocacy. More so, they provide opportunities for Jewish citizens to live Judaism actively and take part in international development.

You can learn more about AJWS by clicking here

I am thrilled to join the staff of Prachaddhrama News Net. PNN is Thailand's first independent media organization. PNN's alternative media strategy strives to disseminate the visible truth about the countries poor through mainstream media outlets in Thailand. My main objective while there is to help build upon their fundraising efforts and grant making strategies, but I will also be writing articles as I travel alongside PNN reporters through Thailand. You can learn more about PNN by clicking here

If you can, please join me in supporting both the great work of AJWS and my work with PNN by donating $18. All donations are made directly though AJWS and are 100% tax deductible. Donate Here

You will receive a letter from AJWS acknowledging receipt of your donation for tax purposes.

Please join me as my fellowship unfolds and I journey through South East Asia. Your questions and comments are welcome and encouraged. Please also, feel free to pass along my travel blog to others who you think my be interested. The next time I write, i'll be in Thailand. Until then, I'm going outside to enjoy the typical Oregon rain.
