I flew into New Orleans airport where Lynn picked me up.  That night we went out for dinner which ended up to be rather hilarious.  The waitress couldn't understand me.  She asked if I want ice with my drink and I said "No thanks, I'm good".  Next minute she turns up with this glass completely full of ice.  I'm like, WTF?  Anyway, we all ended up in a fit of giggles over this.  Every time she came and checked on our table it was really hard to keep a straight face.  I think she thought I said "Thanks, that'll be good".  Who knows.  It was pretty darn funny at the time anyway.  Justin didn't help by asking "Do you want some ice with your ice".  Which set us all off again.  I think we gave the poor woman a bit of a paranoid complex.

The first full day we went to the State Capitol which was really beautiful inside.  Then on to Mike the tiger who is the mascot of Louisiana State University.  He was kinda sleepy due to the heat.  Finally moving onto Nottoway house and doing a tour.  Beautiful house.  We were taken on a tour by a young girl who was dressed for the era.

Check out the photos!  Pretty darn pretty!

Teeheee! Poor waitress, but I know exactly what you're talking about!
I keep giving locals hard time by asking for grilled cheese :P For them it's like a cheese toast and they call it grilled cheese coz it's warm and gooey on the inside and for me grilled cheese is a piece of fried cheese, no bread. Jesus! They are weird. Everyone is weird, actually :P

I started giggling all over again reading about the ice. She was determined you have ice with your orange juice, dammit! Hahahahaha! But I do agree I think we made her a bit paranoid later since we could hardly stop laughing every time she came around. Poor old lady. LOLOL :D
