Yankee (Kathy) and I grabbed the train from Journal Square to 33rd Street and walked down 7th Avenue stopping to go into Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. Then through to Times Square.

We stopped for a coffee on the way. Well I did.  Sorry Tarsh, forgot to drag the sheep outta the bag for a pic but anyway.
Then through to Times Square.

Baz is proving popular on FB, so I thought I had better chuck him in here.

My camera did some major action through here!  Naked cowboy dude!  Whaat? He's wearing pants.

Finally ended up at Central Park with the addition of a few more blisters (on my feet, not Kathy's) we then got a bike fella to take us through Central Park.  He was doing his best to charm the crap out of us to get a sale.  He was a Turkish guy and he said he loved NZers, ANZACS and then finished up with a 'Oh you have beautiful eyes’ to me, which got a response from Kathy like "Just shut it and pedal" Funnee!  Poor dude needs glasses.

Too many things to list of what we seen. I have so many photos I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them all!  After Central Park we went up to Time Warner building and cooled off a bit in the air con.

We then walked some streets that were more quiet and lived in.  I think every day is trash day here.  The amount of rubbish is unbelievable.  What I found amusing is that alot of the rubbish bags resembled body bags.  I reckon you could chuck old uncle Fred out in the trash and noone would notice.

We took our train back to Journal Square and picked up some takeaways and walked back to the Hotel through the main street of the Indian district.  Did I mention rubbish day? Yeah, well these guys had it freaken everywhere.  Pity half of it didn't make it into the bags.  So I'll rephrase that to we 'tripped' over rubbish and shit back to our hotel.
Catcha later!  More New York tomorrow!
