Soo hot...in December? wtf?

So I got into Surfers Paradise very early in the morning and found my way to a hole in the wall motel. I was still getting over my cold so it was again nice to have my own room. It was about a kilometer walk into town which I did several times a day even though I felt like I would die from the heat and humidity. I was fortunate enough to have it start pouring rain when I was on my way home...so I just enjoyed it.
My first night there I was able to meet up with an old friend from highschool whom I haven't seen for five years. She is going to film school at Bond University. I just met some of her friends and had a few drinks before she headed off for Tazmania. It was chill though. I recently just returned back to Sydney as of 6:30am after a 13 hour bus ride. I leave back for the states on the 18th so I will just meet back up with Emily for a little while tonight and probably not do much else. Just ready to get home now.
