Bilen var pakket og vi var klar til at rykke ud paa 'the road' og vores laengste tur i bil. 2400 km til Alice Springs. Vi regnede med at klare turen paa 3-4 dage.

Foerste natte-stop lagde vi i Richmond. Efter ca 850 km. (Cairns-Townswille-Richmond)

Vi slog lejr i solnedgangen og hyggede.
