We left Erin's at 3:30 am and the taxi got us to the airport 15 minutes before Southwest opened its counters.  We still had plenty of time to get through security, go to Starbucks for drinks and breakfast, and get to the gate well before they started calling for boarding.  I don't remember much of the first flight as I slept/dozed most of the way.  We landed in Denver almost a half an hour early.  Lovely, as we already had a 3 1/2 hour layover.  I sat and did my blogs but couldn't get the pictures to upload.  I also read my book.  Derek and Larry took a walk while I sat.  My back was still hurting a little and I didn't want to have to walk around with my backpack anymore than necessary.  For lunch we ate at a bakery that had really fresh sandwiches and came with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie.  Our next flight was to Chicago Midway where we arrived late because the plane got in late at Denver.  Here we stayed on the same plane and were in Chicago about 1/2 hour.  We changed seats and got the second row for the 50 minute ride to Columbus.  We got in just a few minutes late.  We stood at the baggage carousel and waited and waited but none of our bags appeared.  Everyone who had come from Seattle was missing baggage.  They think the problem was in Denver.  You'd think with almost 4 hours they could have gotten our baggage on the right plane.  We filled our the paperwork and they said the baggage would be here sometime between 9 and 1 on Tuesday.  We got on the shuttle to the green lot.  It felt weird to not have any luggage.  We stopped at Pei Wei for supper and all three of us had the special:  Caramel Chicken which was very good.  We got home about 9:00 and skyped with Erin.  It is good to be home and sleep in my own bed,
