Where I stayed
Our next destination was the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden. This was a collection of planes from the beginning of aviation through WWII. Most of the planes have been restored so that they can be flown periodically
Before supper Jim's wife came home from work. She works as a corporate lawyer in London and commutes everyday an hour and 45 minutes each way by train. I can't imagine. The fish pie was delicious but it had prawns in it so Larry, who is allergic, had to pick his out. That was great for me as I love them. For pudding we had raspberries from Jane's garden that Jim and Max had picked. Max had to go to bed in the middle of supper as he was falling asleep in his chair. After supper we went to the Toft People's Hall where the Toft Social Club meets. We had drinks. I had a lager shandy, Larry had Tribute Bitter, Jane has ginger beer, and Jake had cider. Jane took us back to our hotel and we went to bed.
