I have finally loaded pictures for each entry!  I was fortunate to be in the company of some exceptionally talented photographers within our Fulbright group of teachers, and from them I learned more than I can say. I don't think that my own pictures are very notable, but my fellow Fulbrighters did show me how to see a great picture, even if I didn't take it successfully.  My camera was my "crappy little HP Photosmart" from our GMS grant award, and it sucked the life out of the batteries (and the extreme heat temporarily disabled several of our cameras) to such a degree that I lost more than a few shots just in frustration with the camera. I've tried to fill in a few gaps with borrowed pictures from my colleagues - about a dozen or so of those I've posted are not mine.  Nonetheless, most of the hundreds of pictures here ARE mine, such as they are. We spent a lot of time on a bus, so many street scenes are through a window and may have been taken while we were in motion.

I especially want to thank Renae for getting the picture of the cow in the store in Varanasi and sharing it - I was sick not to have a camera for that incredible experience, and I'm still laughing about the absurdity of it all.  Jenn, Geoff and Marc are phenomenal photographers.  In addition, I need to thank Mary, Sarah, Amanda, Susan, David, Shirley, Melissa, Bob and Anita.  And of course, the trip would not have been the same without Kevin, who, aside from making me laugh every day, made us all smile as he photographed himself with every speaker, school principal, tour guide and for all we know, the Prime Minister himself.

My previous (and final) blog entry includes some impressions from the two weeks Ron and I spent together in Rajastan, and those pictures were taken by us with our new Canon SD750.  Rosie, you were right - I should have bought such a camera BEFORE I left in June!  Please take a look, as there are a few pictures that really captured "my India."

Lastly, USEFI has put some of their pictures of us on their web site. Make sure to select 2007. /PhotoGallery.aspx
