Flag of Ireland  , County Dublin,

Ahem, yet another I was saying, we had to scramble to find a way home and eventually, after much dashing about the crazy streets of Saturday night revellers, we got the nightlink and made it home.  I am still struggling to adjust to the extreme time change so I was up til 3:30 a.m.  It makes for a little draggy in the morning but if that's the least of my problems, oh well!

I was going to comment again on how touched I am by the Irish people....they are so incredibly passionate and don't seem self conscious about expressing their feelings.  Even big burly men, who in our culture would mask their feelings in public are open.  In the pub, the patrons laugh, sing and are generally happy.  However, when the musician sang a song (I think it was called The Town I Loved So Well) became moved.  It's a poignant song about war, and loss...there were the burly men, listening with tears running down their cheeks...these guys were not blubbery drunks, they were merely men remembering, with sadness some of the country's loss and sadness.

Anyway, I just can't get enough of this place!

The morning after our wonderful pub evening, we decided to make it a leisurely day.  We just wandered around looking at random sights and doing a lot of walking.  Booked our toyr for the next day to The Cliffs Of Moher, wandered more, had dinner and an early night as it was to be an early morning for our tour out west.
